Recorded in New York City on March 20th 1923 featuring Joseph Samuels violin & director, Jules Levy Jr cornet, Ephraim Hannaford trombone, Nathan Glantz alto sax, Larry Briers piano, and George Hamilton Green drums.

The "Original Missouri Jazz Hounds" was a pseudonym used for Joseph Samuels' Jazz Band. Jules Levy Jr., the son of Jules Levy a man one time billed as "The World's Greatest Cornetist," was also an accomplished trumpeter. He first began making records in 1919 with groups that were often led by Samuels.
