This side was recorded in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 10th 1924 featuring Art Hicks violin, director, & vocals, Bert Allen and Wild Bill Davison cornets, Frank Bamberger trombone, Jack Weber clarinet & tenor sax, Otis Neirouter (aka Ray Evans) alto sax, Homer Beercraft alto sax & vocals, Jack Saatkamp piano, Carl Chauve banjo, Ray Fetzer tuba, and Bud Ebel drums.

*"Horsey! Keep Your Tail Up! (Keep The Sun Out Of My Eyes)" was composed by
Walter Hirsch and Bert Kaplan.

This session was the recording debut of the "Chubb-Steinberg Orchestra of Cincinnati" which produced four sides.

They were the very first sides on which, a then nineteen year old, "Wild" Bill Davison would appear.
