*"How Come You Do Me Like You Do?" was composed by Gene Austin and Roy Bergere.

Originally hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Edith Goodall would get her first performance experience there at the Park Theater in 1919. After marrying pianist Danny Wilson, Edith would tour the East Coast with a trio (that included Danny's sister Lena) from 1920 until she was picked to record for Columbia in New York the following year. She made her debut in 1921 with "Johnny Dunn's Jazz Hounds" and later performed with Fletcher Henderson. The same year she would replace Mamie Smith by accepting the lead roll in Perry Bradford's musical "Put And Take". In 1926 Edith Wilson joined the "Chocolate Kiddies" revue on a European tour with "Sam Wooding's Orchestra".
