This side was recorded in New York City in 1928 featuring 'Whispering' Jack Smith vocals, accompanied by "The New Mayfair Dance Orchestra" including Carroll Gibbons piano & leader, and Joe Venuti violin.

*"Crazy Rhythm" was jointly written by Irving Caesar, Joseph Meyer, and Roger Wolfe Kahn. Published in 1928, Kahn's Orchestra recorded it the same year, yet this version from 'Whispering' Jack Smith proved to be the most popular.

The "New Mayfair Dance Orchestra" was an HMV Records studio band featuring members of many of the top hotel orchestras of the day.
