This record was made in Chicago on July 6th 1928 featuring Natty Dominique cornet, Honore Dutrey trombone, Johnny Dodds clarinet, Lil Hardin-Armstrong piano, Bill Johnson bass, and Baby Dodds washboard.

*"Bucktown Stomp" was composed by Johnny Dodds.

From the mid to late 20's, aside from his work with many prominent bands, Johnny Dodds had several records released under his own name often with Natty Dominique. Dodds worked regularly in Chicago at Kelly's Stables a small speakeasy beginning in 1924. He continued to perform at the club until it was shut down by Federal Authorities on April 5th 1930.
