There is little known about the life of singer Rosetta Crawford. Here she is as recorded in New York City during June 1926, backed by Thomas Morris cornet, Cliff Jackson piano, and Charlie Dixon banjo.

Rosetta's recording career began in 1923 when she was backed by a trio including Sidney Bechet and Clarence Williams. After the mid 20's she did not appear on record again until a brief comeback in 1939 which produced for sides accompanied by James P. Johnson's Hep Cats.
