This recording was made in New York City on September 14th 1926 featuring Martha Copeland vocals, accompanied by Phil Worde piano.

*"Stole My Man Blues" is credited to Martha Copeland.

The recordings made by Martha Copeland did not sell in great quantities like those of her Columbia Records label mates Bessie and Clara Smith.

Much of the facts about her life like her birth date remain unknown, but evidence of her age comes form Paul Oliver's comment that she was in her forties when Victoria Spivey (born 1906) was in her teens.
