Recorded in New York City on June 9th 1925 featuring Red Nichols cornet, Frank Cush trumpet, Tommy Dorsey trombone, Jimmy Dorsey and Arnold Brilhart clarinet & alto sax, Fred Cusick clarinet & tenor sax, Irving Brodsky piano, Tommy Fellini banjo, Adrian Rollini bass sax, and Stan King drums.

*"I'm Gonna Charleston Back To Charleston" was composed by Roy Turk and Lou Handman.

When Bill Moore left the "California Ramblers" to join Ben Bernie's Orchestra he was replaced by Red Nichols who ultimately stayed for only two months due to his ultra-busy schedule and already successful solo career. The Dorsey brothers were also with the group for a time during this period with Jimmy Dorsey on alto saxophone and occasionally clarinet. The trombonist of course is Tommy Dorsey, who at the time was still heavily influenced by Red's frequent collaborator Miff Mole.
