This film footage featuring "Red Nichols & His Five Pennies" was recorded between 1950 and 1952 with Red Nichols leader & trumpet, King Jackson trombone, Rosie McHargue clarinet, Bobby Hammock piano, Joe Rushton, bass sax, and Rollie Culver drums.

*"Entrance of the Gladiators" was composed by Czechoslovakian military conductor Julius Fucik in 1897. The march was spread throughout North America in 1910 under the title "Thunder and Blazes" by Canadian composer Louis-Philippe Laurendeau and became a favorite theme of circus attractions.
