Louis Dumaine's Jazzola Eight

An authentic New Orleans jazz group led by trumpeter Louis Dumaine this assemble was captured on record by the Victor Recording Company's mobile recording unite in 1927. Dumaine, a well known local figure, was a member of the "Tuxedo Brass Band" and the "Eagle Band" with Kid Howard and Buddy Bolden's trombonist Frankie Duson, in addition to the band of Henry Allen Sr.
