This recording was produced in Chicago on June 29th 1928 featuring Louis Armstrong trumpet, Fred Robinson trombone, Jimmy Strong clarinet, Earl Hines piano, Mancy Carr banjo, and Zutty Singleton drums.

*"Two Deuces" was composed by Lil Hardin.

By 1928 Louis Armstrong had replaced all of the original personnel of his "Hot Five." Earl "Fatha" Hines now replaced Lil Hardin at the keys, and young New Orleans drummer Zutty Singleton became the band's sixth member.
