This side was cut in Chicago on February 26th 1926 with Louis Armstrong trumpet, Kid Ory trombone, Johnny Dodds clarinet & alto sax, Lil Hardin Armstrong piano, and Johnny St Cyr banjo.

*"You're Next" was composed by Lillian Armstrong.

The "Hot Five" deliver this original composition written by pianist Lil Armstrong prominently featuring the trombone of Kid Ory. -Recorded on this side from 1926 at the very start of his own "Hot Five's" tremendous success the great Louis Armstrong doesn't disappoint.

Armstrong first assembled this group in Chicago in 1925 after returning from New York City where he spent nearly a year as the star trumpeter in the "Fletcher Henderson Orchestra". The "Hot Five" produced their debut recordings for the Okeh label on November 12th 1925 during a brief session featuring the songs: "Gut Bucket Blues", "My Heart", and "Yes! I'm In The Barrel".
