Recorded in New York City on April 11th 1924 featuring Johnny Dunn cornet, Leroy Tibbs piano & cymbal, and Sam Speed banjo.

*"Dunn's Cornet Blues" was composed by Johnny Dunn.

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee and discovered by W.C. Handy in 1916, Johnny Dunn first traveled
to New York in 1920 to assume control of "Mamie Smith's Jazz Hounds" before later forming his own band.

Recorded utilizing only the accompaniment of his rhythm section this side has come to be one of Dunn's better known; demonstrating a lost horn style that was prevalent during the per-Armstrong era.
