This record was produced in New York City on May 7th 1930 with Joe Venuti violin, Adrian Rollini bass sax, Lennie Hayton piano, and Eddie Lang guitar.

*"Raggin' The Scale" was composed by Edward B. Claypole.

The records made by "Venuti's Blue Four", "Five", & "Six" groups feature the amazing instrumental team of Joe Venuti and Eddie Lang accompanied by some of their "Paul Whiteman Orchestra" band-mates in addition to the occasional New York studio musician. Appearing on this side for Columbia in 1930 the duo share their spotlight with the most accomplished and most prominent bass saxophonist of the 1920's, Adrian Rollini.
