Recorded in Richmond, Indiana on April 23rd 1928 with Natty Dominique cornet, Darnell Howard alto sax,
Jimmy Blythe piano & speech, and W E Buddy Burton washboard.

*"Some Do and Some Don't" was composed by W. E. Burton.

The famed pop jazz recording unit from Chicago's South Side the "State Street Ramblers" led by Jimmy Blythe are manifested here as a Quartet. Natty Dominique and Darnell Howard both have an equal opportunity to lend their talents to the performance while Blythe and Burton spend much of the side in a time keeping capacity.
