Feat. Jimmie Noone

Recorded in Chicago on June 22nd 1926 under the direction of Charles Doc Cook featuring Jimmie Noone clarinet & vocals, Freddie Keppard cornet, William Dawson trombone, Joe Poston alto & tenor sax, Kenneth Anderson piano, and Johnny St Cyr banjo.

*"Love Found You For Me" was composed by Doc Cook and Clarence Williams.

Under the expert direction of Charles Cook this assembly combines the talents of two New Orleans jazz giants with the cornet of Freddie Keppard and melodic singing and reed work of Jimmie Noone.

After engaging in some call and response Noone lets loose with Keppard entirely, following the clarinetist's emotive vocal chorus.
