Born in Stamford, Connecticut on July 18th 1940 Jim Kweskin is a guitarist and banjo picker who is best known as the founder of the "Jim Kweskin Jug Band". The group became active performing modernized renditions of pre-World War II rural favorites in Boston during the 1960's.
