During this 1961 taping trombonist and jazz promoter Big Bill Bissonnette interviews (his personal idol) Jack Teagarden for his San Antonio, Texas radio show.

Trombone legend Jack Teagarden reminisces about by-gone days of the 1920's and '30's and his 8,000+ recordings during an interview conducted by fellow trombonist and fan Big Bill Bissonnette. Jack remembers the early days growing up in Vernon, Texas and shares his opinions on the future of Jazz. Three years later Jack Teagarden, the man who taught the world "trombone swing" would die from a heart attack alone in his room at the Prince Conti Hotel in New Orleans' French Quarter.
