Recorded by in New York City on May 10th 1917 with Arnold Johnson piano, Buster Johnson trombone,
Rudy Wiedoeft c-melody sax, Marco Woolf violin, and unknown drums and banjo.

*"Canary Cottage" is a jazz medley of popular songs, from the production written by Earl Carroll.

In 1916 Rudy Wiedoeft traveled East as member of the pit orchestra for Oliver Morosco's production of
"Canary Cottage" a show that eventually open at the Morosco Theater in New York on February 5th 1917.

The Morosco, located on Broadway near Times Square, was erected in 1917 and remained active until its demolition in 1982.
