This recording was produced in London, England in December of 1928 by "Fred Elizalde and his Band" with personnel including Al Bowlly vocals, and Fred Elizalde piano & leader.

*"I'm Sorry, Sally" was written by Gus Kahn and Ted Fiorito.

The fox trot ballad was also recorded a couple of month earlier by Nat Shilkret's "Rhyth-Melodists" and Fred Waring's "Pennsylvanians" featuring vocalist Clare Hanlon.
