From "On With The Show"

Ethel Waters sings "Birmingham Bertha" in a clip from the 1929 film musical "On With The Show" appearing with dancer John Bubbles (John Sublett), one half of the famous duo "Buck & Bubbles".

The 1929 Warner Brothers release "On With The Show" (originally presented in Technicolor) was their first all color film production the novelty of which guaranteed instant success. But it's time at the top was short lived and the picture's fame would soon be surpassed by the release of "Gold Diggers Of Broadway." Sadly no surviving Technicolor prints of the film have been found.
