Feat. Frank Teschemacher

This classic recording was cut in New York City on July 28th 1928 featuring Frank Teschemacher clarinet & alto sax, Joe Sullivan piano, Eddie Condon four-string guitar & vocals, and Gene Krupa on drums.

*"Oh, Baby!" was composed by Milton Ager and Owen Murphy, with lyrics by Jack Yellen.

This song is from the Broadway musical "Rain Or Shine" which opened at the George M. Cohan Theater
on February 9th 1928 and ran until December 15th of that year.

Owing much to the composition skills of Owen Murphy this bright 32 bar number utilizes a I : II7 : V7 : I
chord sequence with a harmonically distinctive middle eight bars.
