Rosa Henderson's life as an entertainer started off in 1913 traveling with her Uncle's circus troupe. Five years later she married Douglas "Slim" Henderson a comedian and co-owner of the "Mason-Henderson" show and toured extensively eventually landing in New York City around 1920 where her professional career truly began.
