Filmed in Essex, Connecticut on February 19th 2017 at the Essex Winter Series presentation "At the Jass Band Ball: A Centennial Celebration of recorded Jazz" featuring Mike Davis cornet, Matt Musselman trombone, Dan Levinson clarinet, Jeff Barnhart piano, and Kevin Dorn drums.

*"Margie" is a popular song written in 1920 as a collaboration between pianists Con Conrad and J. Russel Robinson, with lyrics written by Benny Davis. At the time Robinson was a member of the "Original Dixieland Jazz Band" the group that would have the honor of first introducing it to record listeners on Victor 78, 18717-A, in a medley paired with "Singin' the Blues".

Celebrating the one hundred year anniversary of the "Original Dixieland Jass Band's" 1917 recording of "Livery Stable Blues" and the "Dixie Jass One Step" which is generally considered the very first example of recorded jazz "Dan Levinson's Roof Garden Jass Band" pay homage at The Stu Ingersoll Jazz Concert.
