This record was produced in New York City in 1929 featuring Ed Kirkeby and Smith Ballew vocals, with orchestra accompaniment.

*"Campus Capers" was written by Charlotte Greenwood and her husband Martin Broones.

Introduced in the 1929 MGM talkie "So This Is College" this hit song was performed on screen by Sally Star and Cliff Edwards.

Ed Kirkeby and the "California Ramblers" take on the pseudonym of "Ted Wallace and his Campus Boys" for this carefree collegiate anthem.

The "California Ramblers'" founder was among the first managers at Columbia Records to organize jazz groups.
