C. W. Stoneking

Christopher William "C.W." Stoneking born in Katherine, Northern Territory, Australia in 1974 is a singer/songwriter and guitarist who possesses a strong stage presence and specializes in good time blues. One year after the 2005 release of his critically acclaimed debut album "King Hokum" featuring original blues compositions he formed his backing band the "Primitive Horn Orchestra". At the forefront of the Australian traditional jazz revival performing in a style which the artist himself refers to simply as hokum blues Stoneking is one of few to due justice to this largely overlooked and fading sub-genre.
