Bob Haring began recording as the musical director of the newly formed Cameo Records label, one of the primary 'dime store' labels in the period, beginning in 1922. He appeared leading ensembles under many different pseudonyms including "The Caroliners", "The Lincoln Dance Orchestra", and "The Society Night Club Orchestra".
