Feat. Arthur Fields

The "California Ramblers" appear in New York City on May 25th 1927 on this release featuring Arthur Fields vocals, Chelsea Quealey trumpet, Bobby Davis clarinet, soprano, & alto sax, Sam Ruby tenor sax, Irving Brodsky piano & arranger, Adrian Rollini bass sax & xylophone, Tommy Felline banjo, and Herb Weil drums.

Beginning with the xylophone played by Adrian Rollini other key points of this record include some nice solo work from Bobby Davis and later Sam Ruby all leading up to the well suited yet rather overbearing vocal chorus from Arthur Fields. For the second half of this side Rollini is featured on the bass saxophone.
