Feat. Adrian Rollini

This recording was produced in New York City on May 7th 1930 featuring Joe Venuti violin, Eddie Lang guitar, Izzy Riskin piano, and Adrian Rollini bass sax & hot fountain pen.

*"Put And Take" was composed by Joe Venuti.

The "Blue Four" led by Joe Venuti accompany the top violinist for one of his original jazz performances. All players are allowed equal solo space, the bass saxophone of Rollini providing depth and fullness in conjunction with the comped guitar of Eddie Lang.

Rollini plays "Hot Fountain Pen" at the beginning of this record. It looks bit like a miniature clarinet but there
the resemblance ends. -Henry Davis
