From "Pardon My Gun"

"Abe Lyman's Californians" perform the "Twelfth Street Rag" in an excerpt from the 1930 film "Pardon My Gun" directed by Robert De Lacey. Featured soloists in the group are Abe Lyman drums & leader, Unidentified trumpet, Orlando "Slim" Martin trombone, "Zip" Keyes two clarinets, and Frank Papile accordion.

*"Twelfth Street Rag" was composed by Euday L. Bowman.

For their 1930 appearance in the film "Pardon My Gun" Abe Lyman and his "Californians" are featured dressed in Western attire to allow for cinematic continuity.

The story may be set in the old West, but as this performance proves it is hardly your typical cowboy flick.
