Feat. Sugar Underwood

This recording was made in Savannah, Georgia on August 23rd 1927 featuring Charles Frazier tenor vocals, and Lester Pratt baritone vocals, accompanied by Sugar Underwood piano.

*"Jacksonville Blues" was written by Robert H. Cloud.

After spending much of the Summer of 1927 seeking talent in the Carolina's the Victor mobile recording unit arrived in Savannah, Georgia just in time to catch a number of favorable touring acts passing through the city including the "Jacksonville Harmony Trio". It was there at the end of August that this mainly vocal group, including pianist Mathew "Sugar" Underwood, would record four sides under the supervision of Ralph Peer for their debut session.
