This side was recorded in New York City on October 6th 1925 featuring Eva Taylor vocals, Louis Armstrong trumpet, Sidney Bechet soprano sax, Clarence Williams piano & leader, and Buddy Christian banjo.

*"Wait Till You See My Baby Do The Charleston" was composed by Clarence Todd, Clarence Williams, and John Simmons.

On a recorded appearance as a member of "Clarence Williams' Blue Five" during the Fall of 1925, the pianist's wife Eva Taylor delivers an exceptional rendition of a song recently published by her husband. Settling in New York in 1920 Clarence married his frequent performance partner, actress and blues singer, Eva Taylor the following year. On this date Williams' all-star band showcases the playing of two of the most popular New Orleans jazz musicians of all time Louis Armstrong and Sidney Bechet, indicative of his great success.

In 1915 Clarence Williams ventured into the music publishing business partnered with fellow New Orleans' bandleader Armand J. Piron. By the time this record was produced ten years later he was the owner of the top African-American music publishing company in the entire country.
