Feat. Ross Gorman

This recording was made in New York City on June 9th 1924 with Henry Busse and Frank Siegrist trumpets, Roy Maxon and Jim Cassidy trombones, Ross Gorman, Ed Stannard, and Don Clark reeds, Ferde Grofe and Henry Lange piano, Mike Pingitore banjo, Al Armer tuba, and George Marsh drums.

*"San" (Oriental Fox Trot)" was composed by Lindsay McPhail and Walter Michaels.

Unlike many of the pre-1925 records made by the Whiteman Orchestra that were straight dance music, this particular version of "San" stands out as one of their hotter sides from the period.
