The "New Orleans Wanderers" recorded this tune at their only recording session, held on July 13th 1926 in Chicago, the group consisting of Lil Hardin Armstrong on piano, George Mitchell cornet, Johnny Dodds clarinet, Kid Ory trombone, Johnny St Cyr banjo, and Baby Dodds drums. This was basically the same band as "Louis Armstrong's Hot Five" except that Armstrong was replaced by George Mitchell.

Yet, although this band only recorded four tunes as the "Wanderers" they would record four more under the name of the "New Orleans Bootblacks" two on this date and two the following day, July 14th 1926.
