Trombonist Jack Teagarden was a mainstay of late 1920s New York Jazz scene. From 1947 to 1951 Teagarden was a sideman with the Louis Armstrong's All-Stars, taken from the second "Timex All Star Jazz Show" this footage was broadcast live from CBS studios in New York on April 30th 1958. Besides Louis and Jack the band consists of Rubby Braff trumpet, Tony Parenti clarinet, Marty Napoleon piano, Chubby Jackson bass, and Cozy Cole drums.
