In 1924 Lee Collins replaced Louis Armstrong in King Oliver's Chicago band but subsequently returned to New Orleans in the late 20's.

This number was recorded in New Orleans on November 15th 1929 with the following musicians, Lee Collins trumpet, David Jones tenor sax, Sidney Arodin clarinet, Theodore Purnell alto sax, Joe Robechaux piano, Emmanuel Sayles banjo, Al Morgan bass, and Joe Strode Raphael drums.
