Feat. "Captain" John Handy's
New Orleans Stompers

This footage was filmed at the warm-up session without the crowd strictly for the purpose of making a film.
It was the band's second attempt to record "Clarinet Marmalade".

Four senior musicians from New Orleans were there when this kind of music was born. They are 'Kid' Thomas Valentine trumpet, Big Jim Robinson trombone, Capt. John Handy alto sax, and Sammy Penn drums.

The local Connecticut musicians are Sammy Rimington clarinet, Bill Sinclair piano, Dick Griffith banjo,
and Dick McCarthy bass.
