New Orleans Owls

An early white jazz band from the Crescent City active from 1922 until 1929.

Descended from the "Invincibles String Band" this brass and rhythm assembly led by clarinetist Benjie White cut twenty-three sides for Columbia Records between 1925 and 1927.
