Recorded in Chicago during April of 1924 featuring Priscilla Stewart vocals, Tommy Ladnier cornet, Jimmy O'Bryant clarinet, Lovie Austin piano & leader, and W E Buddy Burton drums.

*"Charleston Mad" was composed by Lovie Austin.

Lovie Austin's real name was Cora Calhoun, she was from Chattanooga, Tennessee originally and had studied music theory at Roger Williams University and Knoxville College in Nashville. She made the move to Chicago in 1923 immediately immersing herself in the local music scene and began to appear on record as accompanist to many female blues singers. Personable and well dressed, she would often be spotted racing around town in her Stutz Bearcat with leopard skin upholstery.
