Recorded in Camden, New Jersey on September 19th 1930 featuring King Oliver trumpet & leader, Dave Nelson trumpet, Jimmy Archey trombone, Hilton Jefferson and Glyn Paque alto sax, Charles H. Frazier tenor sax, Hank Duncan piano, Arthur Nipton tuba, and Fred Moore drums.

*"Nelson Stomp" was composed by David C. Nelson.

The tune's author trumpeter, Dave Nelson was reportedly the nephew of Joe 'King' Oliver although some sources state that he was actually the relative of Oliver's wife Stella.

Nevertheless when failing health forced King Oliver into retirement at the end of 1930 it was Dave Nelson who assumed control of his orchestra.
