Recorded in Chicago on November 12th 1925 featuring Louis Armstrong cornet, Johnny Dodds clarinet, Kid Ory trombone, Lil Hardin Armstrong piano, Johnny St Cyr banjo, and Baby Dodds drums.

Released on the Okeh label this selection was backed with another Armstrong original titled "Gut Bucket Blues".

*"Yes! I'm In The Barrel" was composed by Louis Armstrong.

Produced by Okeh Records at the very first recording session ever held by Louis Armstrong's "Hot Five" this side was cut shortly after the formation of the group.

This early "Hot Five" record strongly features the collaborative talent of Louis Armstrong and Johnny Dodds foreshadowing their many great recorded masterworks to come.
