One of the first trumpeters to adopt the stylistic innovations of Louis Armstrong Jack Purvis shows off this unique talent with a solo. The accompanying rhythm section is comprised of musicians from Hal Kemp's band, of which Purvis was also a member at the time, including pianist John Scott Trotter.
