*"Ain't She Sweet" with music composed by Milton Ager, and lyrics by Jack Yellen.
Rutgers University cheerleader Harold "Scrappy" Lambert was a talented vocalist who also played piano with a collegiate jazz group, the "Rutgers Jazz Bandits". During February of 1925 Lambert would form a musical alliance with fellow student (and cheerleader) Billy Hillpot impersonating the Smith Brothers. The following year famous orchestra leader Ben Bernie discovered the pair and signed them on with his band where they remained until 1928.
For this record members of the "Ben Bernie Band" are led by their star saxophonist Jack Pettis.
