Feat. The Dorsey Brothers

This recording was made in New York City on November 7th 1929 with Mannie Klein and Leo McConville trumpets, Tommy Dorsey trombone, Jimmy Dorsey and Arnold Brilhart clarinet & alto sax, unknown tenor sax, Irving Mills violin & director, Hoagy Carmichael piano, Joe Tarto tuba, and Chauncey Morehouse drums.

*"MY Little Honey And Me" was composed by Norman Hackforth.

There is a very audible violin trio on this record. So Mills and two others, possibly Brilhart doubling on violin (if he did, I don't know.) It's safe to call the other two violins unknown. Seems to be a sax trio on here as well, some unknown tenor sax player (apparently not Pee Wee Russell).-Dan Weinstein
