Recorded in Richmond, Indiana on May 5th 1928 featuring Bud Dant cornet, Chauncey Goodwin clarinet & alto sax, Harold Keating clarinet & tenor sax, Eddie Wolfe violin, Hoagy Carmichael piano & leader, Arnold Habbe banjo, Jack Drummond bass, and Andy van Sickle drums.

*"Walkin' The Dog" was composed by Shelton Brooks. The song was specifically written to be performed in the "Dancing Follies of 1916".

Hoagy Carmichael and his "Collegians" attended two other recording sessions for Gennett, one in February 1926 and the other in October 1927, but only two sides resulting from the 1927 session were ever issued.
