Dorothy McNulty, better known as Penny Singleton performs "The Varsity Drag" as Flo accompanied off screen by "Abe Lyman & His Band" in an excerpt from the 1930 motion picture musical "Good News".

The picture also starred Ann Dvorak and Ann Sothern, in addition to dwarf actor Harry Earles who emerges ("Surprise!") from the waste-paper basket. The film was shot in black & white with the finale presented in spectacular Technicolor which is, unfortunately, missing from the only surviving print.
