Feat. Red McKenzie

In this clip from the 1929 film short "The Opry House", "Mound City Blue Blowers" Red McKenzie can-kazoo & vocals, Jack Bland banjo, Carl Kress guitar, and Josh Billings percussion, perform "I Ain't Got Nobody".

"The Opry House", released by Vitaphone, was one of at least two short film appearances made by the band between 1929 and 1931. Red McKenzie, who had been an established solo artist since 1925, would also return to the 'Mound City' name for recording sessions with Jack Teagarden, Coleman Hawkins, Pee Wee Russell, and Glenn Miller during the same period.
