This side was recorded in New York City on July 10th 1930 featuring Fess Williams clarinet, alto sax, & director, Emanuel Clark and John Brown trumpets, Jelly James trombone, Bobby Holmes clarinet & alto sax, Perry Smith clarinet & tenor sax, Walter Pichon piano, Ollie Blackwell or Andy Pendleton banjo, Emanuel Casamore bass brass, and Ralph Bedell drums.

Already a veteran entertainer by 1920, pianist and singer/songwriter Sidney Easton collaborated with both Ethel Waters and Fats Waller. He recorded a number of vocal duets with blues singer Martha Copeland and went on to be featured in a number of all black films.
