"Up-dated Down Home"

This side was cut in New york city on July 28th 1925 featuring Ethel Waters vocals, Horace Holmes cornet, Pearl Wright piano, and Bill Benford tuba.

*"Down Home Blues" was composed by Tom Delaney.

Ethel Waters sings an up-to-date rendition of a song from her very first Black Swan release. The sound quality here is greatly improved from that of her original 1921 version, and the audible piano of Pearl Wright complements her vocals well.
