This recording was made in New York City during June of 1927 featuring Annette Hanshaw vocals, Joe Venuti violin, Eddie Lang guitar, Adrian Rollini bass sax, and Vic Berton pedal tympani.

*"I'm Somebody's Somebody Now" was written by Abner Silver, Howard Johnson, and Al Sherman.

Originally released billed as the "Four Instrumental Stars" this record was the first to feature Annette Hashaw accompanied by the jazz string duo of Joe Venuti and Eddie Lang.

Alhough she usually appeared on record under her own name, like many popular recording stars of the jazz era Annette was also billed under numerous pseudonyms for multiple record labels which grew to included Gay Ellis, Marion Lee, Janet Shaw, Ethel Bingham, Dot Dare, or Patsy Young.
